Partners In Prayer

October 1, 2019 @ 8:15 am – 9:00 am

Dear ALCS community,

On the first Tuesday of each month we have a great opportunity to come together in prayer for our ministries at Abundant Life.  Maybe you have heard of Partners in Prayer, but didn’t know what it was or that you are invited!  Here is more information about what Partners in Prayer is and does at Abundant Life:

What is Partners in Prayer? You may have seen the advertisement for Partners in Prayer (aka PIP) but aren’t sure what it is. PIP was created five years ago with the following mission statement: “A monthly focused prayer time for the Learning Center, School and Church, three uniquely separate ministries but united together to glorify God, serve others and build God’s kingdom.”

In Philippians 4:6 it states, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, make your requests known to God.” Partners in Prayer is doing just that! We meet the first Tuesday of the month, October – June, from 8:15-9:00 am in the church lounge. Learning center parents, school parents, and Abundant Life Church attendees are invited to attend.

PIP follows the ACTS model for prayer:

Adoration- praising God for Who He is

Confession- a time of silence to consecrate ourselves before God

Thanksgiving- thanking God for what He has done and is doing in the three ministries Supplication- praying for staff, students, ministries, concerns and needs specific to the three ministries

Please consider joining us the first Tuesday of the month at 8:15 am. Contact Lisa Grimley for more information, or
